Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny2018.Jun.17

18061701_tsugaikeThe early-morning operation has started from yesterday, and on weekend until July 8 (Sun), the gondola will start from 7:30 a.m. It was a beautiful sunny day with the sea of clouds in the east, and when I came to Tsugaike Nature Park, Mizubasho was at their best. They are in full bloom from June 14 (Thu) and I hear people oohing and aahing here and there.

18061702_tsugaikeIt was very chilly last night and two nights ago, but damage of Mizubasho were kept for minimum. It was windless comfortable weather, and I walked around the park with relaxed mood.

18061703_tsugaikeA guest from Azumino City, Nagano Pref. said, “I always enjoy your report. I thought it is best season of Mizubasho and I came here before next weekend.” “Mizubasho Festival” will be scheduled to held from June 22 (Fri)–June 24 (Sun) but Mizubasho might pass their peak.

18061705_tsugaikeThe routes between the marshes are still covered with snow, so the water proof shoes are required. The snow in Watasuge Marsh was almost thawed and Mizubasho in the entrance of the marsh was started to bloom. The snow in Ukishima Marsh was also almost thawed and I could enjoy the view of early summer from bench.

18061704_tsugaikeDue to snow thawing, regular route of the park has opened from June 16 (Sat). Therefore, the route from Ukishima Marsh to Yase-one is now open.
