Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny2017.Oct.27
We had “very rare” 2 straight fine day in this season. In spite of the wintry view of the nature park, the temperature rose to 11 degrees and it was not so cold. However, the snow did not melt and still remained white each marsh.

Ponds were frozen and covered with ice. By the way, the toilet near Kusu-gawa River is closed today and only 2 toilets at Visitor Center and the summit station of Tsugaike Ropeway were available from tomorrow. The bridge of Kusu-gawa will be removed on Oct. 30 (Mon).

I walked on the slippy wooden paths carefully toward Ukishima Marsh. The ponds here were also frozen. We could see just white peaks, Dakekanba, bamboos and trees. It looked like a picture, even though the colors are simple.

The trees dropped leaves in Yase-one, so the visibility got better. I thought there was a lot of remaining snow in the nature park during walking. However, when I looked back from Yase-one, there were much more green areas than I thought. We could see Mt. Azumaya and Mt. Asama as well.

Only Yase-one has almost no snow, so I could walk comfortably. As I approached to Ukishima Marsh, the snow appeared on the wooden paths again.
