Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy & Sunny2017.Jun.05
The clouds came up fast and the sunlight was blocked off often after 9:00 a.m. The temperature remained low, 8 degrees, so I needed a light jacket. In Ukishima Marsh, 2 holes were made and the ground was exposed as well as Mizubasho Marsh, but no flowers were blooming, such as Mizubasho.

Now, almost part of the nature park is still covered with snow. The course toward Tenbou Marsh is different from the usual one because of the snow. The route is Ukishima Marsh→Ginmeisui→Mousen-ike Pond→Go toward the left→Yase-one→Observation Deck→Tenbou Marsh. We can enjoy walk around the park with trekking shoes, but it is better to prepare crampons.

On the remaining snow, our sight got higher than usual and the view was fresh. The green leaves of Oshirabiso was beautiful under the sunshine. By the way, Kusu-gawa River was almost under the snow still.

The steep ridge trail from Yase-one to the observation deck had no snow and we could find cute flowers around our foot. Especially, white Mitsubaoren and pink Koiwakagami were noticeable. Shiraneaoi had just started to bloom.

After about one and a half hour walking, I got to Tenbou Marsh. The wooden deck was covered with snow and the pink ribbons showed its place. The peaks of Northern Alps were behind the clouds, but we could see the Hakuba Great Snow Valley.
