Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny & Cloudy2017.Jun.03
It was nicely sunny in the early morning, but the clouds came up at around 8:00 a.m. and the visibility went white during on the gondola. Before arriving at the summit station, the clear sky spread out over my head. The fresh green trees of Tsuga-no-mori were shining under the sunlight and very beautiful.

The clouds broke up after getting on he ropeway. From the trail to Mt. Hakuba Norikura, we could see the panoramic view of the nature park and the peaks of Hakuba. The trails were still covered with snow as well and the pink ribbons tied on trees showed the destination. The temperature was just 10 degrees, but only a little walking made me sweaty.

We can see Mizubasho only in this hole now. It was very cold with hailing and snowing in the last night. The nature park got white beautifully again, but Mizubasho looked to be damaged.

However the season of Mizubasho will start after thawing, so the view would be change in a week. By the way, almost flowers of Mizubasho in Tsuga-no-mori had passed its peak and only a little fresh flowers remain in the deep part.

In Visitor Center, there is a drink dispenser of hot tea and cold water, available for free. When I arrived at Watasuge Marsh, the strong wind made me cold, so I took a rest here with hot drinks after trekking.
