Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny2016.Oct.26
Althogh it has been very chilly in these days, it was calm with the blue sky and a light wind in this morning. Only several days are left until the summer-autumn season of Tsugaike finishes and the nature park was very quiet just after its open. Because of that, I could walk comfortably at my own pace, enjoying the beautiful contrast of Northern Alps and white birches.

The rain falling last night made many part of the paths slippy and muddy. On the way to Ukishima Marsh, I could see the unique trapezoid of Mt. Takamatsu and Mt. Ototsuma in the east. Besides, there was the sea of clouds in the soush east sky as well.

It was very warm and the temperature was 18 degrees at 8:30 a.m, so I did not feel cold anymore. At 9:30 a.m. when I reached Tenbou Marsh, no one was here. I took a rest in front of the great peaks of mountains for a while.

Finally, I met hikers on the way back to the entrance. The southern-east wind brought clouds and they started to block off the sunlight and hide the moutain ridges as time passed. By the way, Tsugaike Nature Park had the first snow on Oct. 25 in the last year, so the winter is coming soon.

The toilets located near Kusugawa River had already been closed. The autumn tints of trees around Snow Square remained beautiful. In the upper part along the gondola, almost leaves had fallen and birches showed the white trunks.
