Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny & Cloudy2016.Jul.11
In Tsugaike Nature Park, Nikkokisuge is at the peak of its blooming! We had reported about it yesterday, but the number of the flowers seemed to be increasing day by day. I found many people enjoying the bright yellow flowers with heaving a sign of admiration and taking photos.

There were more Nikkokisuge colonies in Ukishima Marsh than Watasuge Marsh. Of Course, other alpine flowers, such as Watasuge and Tateyamarindo were blooming and beautiful, but now is the turn of Nikkokisuge.

The marsh before Ginmeisui was also remaining “yellow”. Usually, the steep stairs make us tired and fed up, but the amazing view cheered us up today. After cooling down myself with the cold water of Ginmeisui, I enjoyed these lovely flowers around here.

The clouds were moving fast and the sun got behind them sometimes before 10:00 a.m. On the way to Mizubasho Marsh from Ginmeisui, Hiougiayame showed the violet petals as well.

The peak season of Nikkokisuge has come 2 weeks earlier than the last year. A staff told to me that it would start withering in 4-5 days from today. Besides, the weather is forecast to get worse in this week. We hope that the flowers will keep its beauty until the next weekend.
