Tsugaike Panorama Way (Gondola + Ropeway) has started early-morning operation. It is open at 7:30 a.m. on July 9 and 10, 6:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays in July 16－Aug. 7, 7:00 a.m. on weekdays in July 19－Aug. 10. Today was a fine day with refreshing air and the blue sky in the morning.

Nikkokisuge was in full bloom in Watasuge Marsh, Ukishima Marsh and the marsh before Ginmeisui. This year is a great year for Nikkokisuge. Each flower has lively yellow petals. Many people enjoy trekking in the nature park with cameras.

As I went further, the marshes changed its color into bright yellow. The view was so amazing that we got excited and some people heaved a sign of admiration.

The best area was the innermost part of Ukishima Marsh. Yellow Nikkokisuge and fresh green glasses made a beautiful contrast and they were glittering in the sun. There were still many buds, so the season of Nikkokisuge seemed to remain until the next weekend and holiday (July 16－18).

I found lovely small and white alpine flowers, such as Karamatsusou, Momijikaramatsu and Shiraneninjin along the wooden path between marshes. After that, the clouds grew fast before 10:00 a.m. They covered Northern Alps and blocked off the sunlight.
