Sanosaka / ◎140cm / Snowy2019.Jan.21

19012101_sanosakaWe had about 40cm fresh snow at the top of the slope thanks to the heavy snow last night! The snow stopped this morning and the sun sometimes shined. In New Paradise Slope(max 32°,ave 23°, 500m), the 5th pair lift began to work at 10p.m. , when the powderd snow had already disappeared in the other slopes in HAKUBA VALLEY.
[New Paradise Slope]
19012102_sanosakaThe north area has not been compacted and the south has been compacted in New Paradise Slope. We enjoyed much powderd snow while sliding over the step at the non- compacted side. The powderd snow in Sanosaka is not so influenced by the wind thanks to the geography, so the condition was ” perfect”! ( ※ The skier in this photo was sliding in the non-compacted area along the lift.)

19012103_sanosakaThere were some big spray of snow behind the skiers and  snowboarders. The fresh snow ran on our boards in the  compacted area in Paradise Slope. We could enjoy sliding at a high speed in Paradise downhill.

19012104_sanosakaThe conditions were good to slide from Lakedown Course to Family Slope. Some self defence forces personnels were training among the other skiers. There were rails and vinyls under the kicker because of the maintenance in the park of Family Slope.
