Cortina / ◎250cm / Snowy2019.Jan.22
We had much more snow last night than the night before last. Visibility sometimes got poor due to the heavy snow and thin fog. There was a long waiting line at No.4 Pair. People headed for Hiedayama Course 1-3 to enjoy powder snow just after getting off the lift, which started operation on time at 9 am.

Hiedayama Course 3 was covered with over 50 cm of powder snow! Sliding in the powder snow and getting face shots were great, and I enjoyed a floating feeling without having a bottom feeling. I heard people shouting for joy here and there.

Many beginners had fun at Ikenota Slope, which was filled with a friendly atmosphere. About 5 cm of fresh snow on the flat soft slope was nice. The skier’s left side of the middle and lower area was non-compacted, covered with 30 cm of fresh snow.

About 15 cm of fresh snow on Rabbit Course was filled with tracks around 10 am. I enjoyed making turns on the dry, soft, fresh snow covering the flat slope. The non-compacted steep slope of Kamoshika Course was great too, covered with 40 cm of fresh snow (shown in the photo).
