The first fire festival in this season of HAKUBA VALLEY “Kashimayari Fire Festival” was held from yesterday 5 p.m. 19 male and female entries on “VESP Park Jam Session” which combines multiple techniques using PVC. Prizes such as a certificate of commendation, a 1-day lift ticket, a T-shirt, Parker, etc. were presented to 3 male and female.

Shinshu Otari Taiko just after the opening ceremony was impressive. In the case of ” torch skating”(photo) LED snowboarder and Shimashika participated in, the light of the night which has been released free from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. was turned off, a red torch rides up on the slopes.

After that, “onbe (dondoyaki)” burning New Year decorations, which is a highlight of the fire festival began. There is a legend that there is a benefit of sickness and disappearance if you replace “Hana(origami)” attached to the head of the tower. After the fire dance by “Goropika”, the fireworks dcorated the finale. The thermometer at hand showed -3℃ and it was feeling cold, but fortunately it was blessed with sunny weather, so if you were firmly cold (especially foot warmth) you could enjoy it without freezing until the very end.
