Cortina / ◎300cm / Partly Cloudy2019.Feb.02
“We enjoy your reports! Snownavi really exist, you are really at the slope! We’ve been snowboarding for a long time but this is our first time to come to Cortina!, three snowboarders from Matsukawa Village in Nagano Prefecture said. Snow was lightly falling on the gentle northerly wind in the soft sunlight but it was not cold.

By the way, Itadaira Course was non-compacted today too (as shown in the first photo). Powder snow was covered with fresh snow and nicely firm on the widely compacted Ikenota Slope, which was great (as shown in the photo). I saw many advanced skiers/snowboarders warming up not only at Ipponmatsu Course but also here at Ikenota Slope in the morning.

Hiedayama Rinkan Course was nicely firm too, covered with powder snow. “We enjoy your reports!”, two skiers spoke to me. They then went down, making beautiful turns. It was not really crowded in the morning as the powder snow was not bad.

5-6 cm of fresh snow lied on the non-compacted Hiedayama Course1. It was soft and good to try, although it was bumpy. “We enjoy your reports! We usually go to Happo but we’ve come to Cortina today to ski powder.”, five skiers staying at the same inn in Happo said.
