Kashimayari/ ◎85cm / Light Snow2019.Jan.05

19010501_kashimayariIt was nice this morning as the cold abated a bit. There were many cars at Nakatsuna Parking and many people waiting  for No.6 Quad, which started operation at 8 am, from early morning. I saw two snowboarders, one coming from Suwa City, Nagano and the other from Omachi City, waiting for the operation of No.3 Quad (8:30~).
[Course1 : Toomi Grand View A]
19010502_kashimayariI saw a snowboarder, who was the first to arrive at No.1 Quad. He came all the way from Aichi, getting on non-toll road and taking 5 hours. “It will be fun to be taken a photo when I fall down hahaha”, he said, when we were talking on the lift. Soon after that, he fallen down as he went down uncarefully on the steep slope of 1-C with small moguls.
[Course 1 : Toomi Grand View C]
19010503_kashimayariChuo Slope was shrouded by thick fog in the early morning, however it cleared around 9 am. The compacted 1-A, 1-B, Kurosawa, and Maruyama Bypass A were firm and nice. Meanwhile, Ipponbuna Downhill Course and Nakatsuna Beginners Slope were non-compacted again today.
[Course1 : Toomi Grand View C]
19010504_kashimayari“I won a lift season ticket that I can use at slopes in Nagano! So I’ve been to various slopes this season. This is my first time to Kashimayari. I’m just looking at the sign because I’m not familiar here.”, Kitsune, who was a Tsugaike season ticket holder until last year, said.
