Sanosaka / ◎70cm / Snowy & Cloudy2019.Jan.06

19010601_sanosakaThe severe cold that lasted for eight days from Dec.28  (Fri) abated yesterday. But shortly after that, the chill came back and we had light snow last night. Lakedown Course and Carving Slope were crowded from the early morning. The skis ran well at Lakedown Course, which was hard and well-compacted.

19010602_sanosakaFamily Slope was in similar condition. I enjoyed sliding down the flat wide slope with speed. The big snow mountain at the last area has turned into a kicker and I sometimes saw snowboarders hitting jumps there.

19010603_sanosakaNew Paradise Slope, which is usually non-compacted, was flat today except for the northern part. Carving Slope (shown in the photo) was hard and there were some small snowballs at the last area… I saw skiers/snowboarders giving it a try at Beginner Mogul Course in the middle area.

19010604_sanosakaMogul Course opened at 9:30. There were three lines with 30 cm-deep, hard moguls. Paradise Slope, which was as hard as Lakedown Course, was flat and nice.
