Kashimayari / ◎80cm / Snowy2019.Jan.02
It was snowy last night and fresh snow laid about 20 cm deep on the slope. No.10 Pair started operation and “all slopes are now available” at Kashimayari Ski Resort, thanks to the snow! Intermediate & advanced skiers and snowboarders headed for the non-groomed Ippon Buna Downhill Course, which had firm ups and downs, to enjoy powder snow.
[Ippon Buna Downhill Course]
The groomed Kurosawa Slope was firm and nice. It was crowded from the early morning. The sun sometimes came out (as shown in the photo). It kept snowing lightly, however, it was nice without wind.
[Course2: Kurosawa Slope]
1-C was all white with non-groomed and covered with about 20 cm of fresh snow. There were fewer people than I had expected just after No.1 Quad started operation and I fully enjoyed powder snow. 1-B, where corduroy patterns were covered by snow, was nicely firm and groomed.
[Course1: Toomi Grand View C]
The firm, groomed surface of Kashima Slope was covered with soft snow. For your information, Snow Park along No.3 Quad is under maintenance. 6m-wide box, two 6m-single tubes, 4m-PVC, and 4m-narrow box are currently set there.
