It snowed heavily with the weak north wind at the 9th pair lift around 8:30. Around 30 powdered snow lovers were in the line in the 10th pair lift and it worked at 9:03, with the sun shining from the east sky.. In Skyview Slope, almost branches of trees were covered with the snow of these two days, so we enjoyed the view of “wide and pure white world”.

After that, people made traces one after another on the burn with 35cm fresh snow in Skyview Slope. We enjoyed the floating feeling thanks to the good condition of the ups and downs with the powdered snow.

There were still beautiful area with the 15-20cm fresh snow in Satomichuo Slope and the 8th pair lift at 10:30. Wakagurri-Chuo Slope and Wakamura-rinkan Course had powdered, soft and flat burns. After some people slide on the burns with the fresh snow, the condition was really nice to enjoy skiing and snowboarding.

“We always enjoy your reports! And We also enjoy sliding in Hakuba for few days in every New Year!” A 6 people from Osaka, Hyogo and Kanagawa talked to us. The condition were really wonderful for these few days in New Year thanks to the good weather and powdered snow.
