“I treat myself with HAKUBA S-CLASS today. The scenery is so wonderful, and the sea of clouds was incredible. I also enjoyed carving the first tracks into the snow!”, a couple coming from Osaka said (pictured). For your infomation, you can purchase an advance ticket of HAKUBA S-CLASS for JPY7,980 (regularly JPY8,800) on Snownavi website.

I found a lot of snowballs on the firm-compacted snow on South Slope (pictured). The snow was already melting around 9 a.m, getting much sunshine on the south-facing slope. In Sunny Valley Course, people were skiing./snowboarding carefully because the snow layer was a bit thin in places.

The snow was moderately firm on the wide flat East Slope. My ski edges dug into the snow. I had fun carving turns in the early mornning because there were only a few people.

“I’m checking your website! I’m looking forward to your reports this year, too. Let me make a cool pose for your photo.”, an instructor at Hakuba Iwatake Snowboard School said (pictured). The snow was firm-compacted not only in East Slope but also in North Slope.
