Hakuba Iwatake / ◎130cm / Snowy2020.Dec.26
View2 lift on Dec.24 (Thu), and 3-line North and Kamo1 on Dec.26 (Sat) started operation.”Almost all courses (=80% of the area)” are finally open in Iwatake, although Sawa lift is not working yet due to the lack of snow. Trees were coated in rime ice in the upper area.
[North Slope]
The upper area of Snowfield was blanked with powdery snow. There was 2~3 centimeters of soft fresh snow on the soft groomed slope of North Slope and the firm groomed slope of VIEW D. I enjoyed gaining speed especailly in the lower area (pictured).

“I enjoy your reports! I’m glad to see you! It’s been a year since the last time I saw you. My family lives in Matsumoto, but I can’t drop in. I’ll stay in a hotel in Matsumoto until the Go To Travel campaign will be suspended.”, a snowboarder from Hachioji, Tokyo (pictured) said.
[VIEW D]
The snow was great not only in VIEW D but alaso in South Slope and Sunny Valley Course. “Hi, how are you? These are my friends and coworkers. I’ll go back and start prepraring to open the shop”, the storemanager at Patagonia Hakuba (pictured left) said.
