This winter, Iwatake is promoting the maintenance of the slopes and new activities for the guests. One of the new promotions is “IWATAKE WHITE PARK”, a snow outdoor area which was open on Dec. 18 (Fri) in the summit area. It includes Yoo-Hoo! Swing which had great popular demands in the summer season (*The swing is open only on sunny days, 10:00 a.m. to 0:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m, JPY1,000 per play, with a drink).

IWATAKE WHITE PARK consists of Pet Zone, Relax & Photogenic Zone and Playing Zone. In Pet Zone, a tube sled area with pets and dog runs will be open at 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 26 (Sat). Besides, the gondola lift is available for pets together from this winter (*Round-trip JPY700 per pet)

Now, there are Snow Wall (Photo), Snow Angel, Igloos and Marriage Bell in Relax & Photogenic Zone. Playing Zone has Slack Line and Kid & Beginner’s Slope as well. Nezuko Forest is open as a snowshoeing course and you can use snowshoes for free from the patrol office in the summit area.

All of the smoking areas have been renovated as well and only smoking electronic cigarets is permitted there. The smoking area in the summit is located by the patrol office and has a roof. This weekends, smoke-free ambassadors will promote this approaches to reduce smoking in the ski area.
