20032801_iwatakeYou can use QUICPay, a kind of electronic money,  in Iwatake. To use it, install the app on your mobile phone and add your credit card. Please tell that you’ll pay with QUICPay and hold your phone close to the payment reader at checkout. You can use it at Skyark, City Bakery, White Plaza, Noah shop, Gondola ticket window, and Infomation desk.

20032802_iwatakeTime flies so fast. Only two days left until Hakuba Iwatake Snowfield is closed. It was rainy all day yesterday but it stopped. Instead, it was foggy this morning. The non-compacted granular snow was nicely firm but rough in East Slope. I had to ski down carefully as the ground was partially uncovered with snow.

20032803_iwatake“I look forward to your reports! I won a combination ticket for Hakuba five ski resorts. I’m coming to Iwatake and Hakuba47 every weekend.”, a snowboarder coming from Toyama, who was the first to arrive, said. North Slope was still closed as of 10 a.m. as the inspection of DC PARK took time.

20032804_iwatakeBy the way, an adventure hotspot, Snow Peak LAND STATION, will open in front of JR Hakuba Station on April 18 (Sat). It has three areas: shopping, outdoor and event areas, which commands a fine view of Hakuba Sanzan. It also houses Snow Peak directly managed shops, Restaurant Seppo, Starbucks Coffee cafe and Hakuba tourism center.
