HAKUBA S-CLASS service started in Hakuba Iwatake this year. You can have snacks and drinks and warm yourself for free in the VIP lounges, which are located at the top, middle (* not opened this season) and foot of the mountain. You can take your boots off and relax in “PEAK LOUNGE” (pictured), which is located on the second floor of Skyarc.

It was a beautiful warm day, although it was sunny but cold yesterday. The groomed snow was loose in North Slope. It felt warm when I started skiing but I gradually got hot in the strong sunshine.

I recommend that you have a break on the terrace of HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR on such a beautiful day. Ushiro Tateyama Mountain Range looked magnificent, covered with the white snow as we had heavy snow on March 24 (Tue).

The corn snow was nicely firm in East Slope in the early morning. “I (pictured left) visited Tsugaike yesterday by myself. Today, I’ll snowboard in Iwatake with my friends. He (pictured right) just had his plaster removed the day before yesterday. This is physical therapy for him.”, said the three snowboarders from Osaka.
