We have only a half month left in March. In the Escal Plaza, Subway, Yogorino, Denbei, Block, Nap Hall, Rental Room, Kids Room, and Information will be open until Apr.1 (Sun). The rest of the shops and facilities will be available until May.6 (Sun), the last day of this season.

The snow (hail) fell at the slope after a long time. There was about 1 cm of wet snow on the flat slope of Grand Prix, Panorama, and Dynamic Course, where the granular snow was nicely firm. Many of the visitors arrived late, probably because the weather forecast said it would rain today. At Alps Daira, there were only a few people in the morning.

Toomi Slope, where the granular snow was nicely melting, was crowded with beginners. The fog sometimes got thick and at both the upper and lower area of the ski area, though it didn’t disturb the skiing.

Powder Snow Course was best among all of the slopes this morning. It was flat, nicely firm, and my edges worked well. There were not many people, and I enjoyed making turns freely. The temperature gradually declined from the early morning. The rain turned to snow around 10 am.m. at JR Hakuba Station.
