It was so warm and there were no wind. The temperature was higher than that of yesterday and I felt hot wearing the jacket even before the open. The well groomed Ipponmatsu Course was very soft to ski soon after the open but the skis were running well and I could ski comfortably.

In the daytime, the temperature got higher and it was warm like a day in May. The sunlight was reflected by the snow slope, my eyes were dazzled and I thought UV protection was required not to get a sunburn. Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course was flat, but the snow was wet and the skis were not running. Mt. Hieda Course 1 with small ups and downs was good to challenge because snow was soft.

Itadaira Course got slushy because of strong sunlight. The edges sunk deeply into snow but I could make turns smoothly.

Warabidaira was flat and soft corn snow condition. Ikenota, with widely groomed soft snow, was crowded with mainly young guests and the atmosphere was peaceful.
