Cortina / ○388cm / Sunny & Cloudy2022.Mar.04
It was partly cloudy today. The hard wet snow blanketed with about 5 cm of fresh wet snow was softly compacted on Ikenota Slope (pictured). The snow was in great condition for all people, including beginners and advanced skiers/snowboarders, even though it started to melt in an hour after the resort opened.

I saw rime ice in the upper area. “It’s really beautiful!, an American family coming from Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture said in Japanese. The snow was nicely packed, blanketed with about 10 cm of fresh, wet snow on Hiedayama Rinkan Course.

ItadairaCourse was smooth, although the snow was non-compacted. About 10 cm layer of fresh, wet snow acted nicely like a blanket. “I’m looking forward to your ports! This is our first visit to Cortina. It’s worth traveling all the way here, taking a paid holiday!”, a couple coming from Aichi (pictured).

“I’m looking forward to your posts!”, the first visitor I saw this morning was the man coming from Ina City (pictured). “May I take your picture?”, I asked. “Could you wait a minute, please? Let me take a picture.”, he started to take a photo of the beautiful tracks of a snow compactor.
