The sky was blue and the sun was shining in the lower area in the morning. “I look forward to your reports! I’m glad to see you. I went snowboarding in Tsugaike Kogen yesterday. Today I’ll have fun here.”, a snowboarder coming from Aichi said.

There was about 1 cm of fresh snow in Ikenonta Slope as it was snowing from last night till this morning. The fine granular snow was compacted hard. I enjoyed gaining speed, although the slope was gentle. The surface fresh snow was getting wet around 9:50 a.m.

The rime looked beautiful in the falling snow in the middle and top area. The hard compacted snow was covered by about 1 cm of soft fresh snow in Hiedayama Rinkan Course (pictured), which was nice. The snow was non-compacted and there were ups and downs in Hiedayama Course, which was difficult to ski down.

The compacted snow was hard in Itadaira Course. The non-compacted snow on the sides was also hard and rough. “We look forward to your reports! We visited Happo, Iwatake and Sanosaka with HAKUBA VALLEY TICKET yesterday”, a visitor from Toyama and another from Fukui said.
