The weather was fine and the temperature was low as -6.7 ℃ at the early morning but it became warm at 8:30 a.m. as the chairlifts started to operate because of warm sunshine. The ski area was crowded from the open because it was weekend.
[Itadaira Course]
The groomed Itadaira Course was nicely firm powder snow condition! There were bit undulations but the edges bit the snow well and I could make turns well. There were bumps in the both sides but snow was dry and soft. So I could make turns comfortably.
[Itadaira Course]
Widely groomed Ikenota and Ikenota Forest was also nicely firm, same as Itadaira Course. Rabbit Course (pictured) was groomed from below the marge of Ikenota Forest. Non-groomed Ipponmatsu Course was bit bumpy but nicely firm and I could ski easily.
[Rabbit Course]
The trees from middle to upper part of the ski area became white with frost. It was beautiful with blue sky. People were taking pictures before started to ski and snowboard. I wanted to ski down the powder snow groomed Mt. Hieda Forest Course again and again using No.4 Lift.
