20010501_cortinaAt 8:30 am, there was a long line at the second quad lift , as the snow fell fiercely in the northwest wind. On the other hand, the teachers of the Cortina ski school using the first pair lift and they were warming up. “I’m always watching! Finally it’s like a ski resort. Thank you for this season.”

20010502_cortinaThe Giant Course (550m, maximum 37 °, average 30 °) is open today! On the course where fluffy fresh snow was piled up about 60 cm but tall Japanese pampas grass still appeared everywhere. However, advanced people went down in one after another without any concern.

The Ipponmatsu course and the Ikenota slope were easy to slide on, with soft snow about 5 cm on  fresh soft snow. Participants concentrated on the 4th and 5th pair lifts, so Ikenota slope this morning (Photo) was not crowded. Slowly enjoy the feel of powdered snow with a wide slope.

A backcountry guide from Hakuba said, “I’m always watching! Today I’m a attending beginner tour, so I will go back and forth on the snake course while doing training such as beacon operation. “After this, the third quad lift began to move, and the rabbit course, kamoshika course, and snake course were able to slide.
