It was sunny in the early morning but it got cloudy when the operation started. The widely & flatly groomed Iketanota was wet snow was nicely firm and I could ski very comfortably. The sun was shadowed after the radiative cooling and good condition was kept for long time.

Ikenota Forest has powdery feeling and nicely firm and I could ski comfortably. Many middle to large sized bumps covered Mt. Hieda 1 irregularly. Father and son from Kanagawa Pref. said, “We always enjoy your report! It’s fun to ski on bumps!”

The south face Rabbit Course was firm corn snow. Although there were many snow balls, the edges were working good. But some people were struggling to slide down. Snake Course was also in firm corn snow condition.

2 people in center out of 6 people from Kanagawa Pref. said, “We always enjoy your report! We used to go to Niigata last year, but we liked snow conditions of Hakuba, so we come here this year. We are planning to come to Hakuba next New Year’s Holiday!”. The ski area was crowded because of weekend but I could get on the lifts comfortably.
