Sanosaka / ◎100cm / Sunny2019.Mar.18

19031801_sanosakaThere was no cloud in the blue sky and it was comfortable with a cold air in the morning. The amount of fresh snow from the daytime to the midnight yesterday was about 10cm and it was dried powdered snow! We could speed up on the soft & flat burns groomed by pistens in Paradise Slope.

19031802_sanosakaTwo sliders from Hakuba Village said, “We always read your reports. We came to ski before works! It’s wonderful snow!” It was good for sliding on the soft groomed burns in Lakedown Course.

19031803_sanosakaIt was good to slide on a wet surface of snow without snow resistance in Family Slope around 9:00. Carving Slope had been groomed and it was as soft & flat powdered burn as Paradise Slope.
[Family Slope]
19031804_sanosakaIt had been warm from the middle of February to the beginning of March, so the amount of snow was smaller than usual and it was only 60cm. But it has become cold and had more snow again since Mar. 13th (Wed.). We will open slopes for one more week in this season. We expect we can open ‘all slopes (at least 80%)’ until the end of the business day!
