Southerly wind blowing strongly. However, it was nice because the wind was warm and the sunshine was strong. A couple from Gunma said, “The wind is strong, but it’s a beautiful day!”

Granular snow was well-groomed and nicely soft at Ipponmatsu Course. The edges of my skis worked well and skis ran smoothly. I could enjoy turns comfortably.

There were not many people when the lifts started working as it was Monday. The slope got crowded with skiers and snowboarders, especially with beginners, around 9 a.m.. The temperature increased rapidly and I saw some people riding down without wearing jackets. The slope was gradually melting and getting rough because of ski tracks.

There were small ups and downs at Rabbit Course, although it was groomed. However, it was not disturb the skiing and I enjoyed the run on the soft granular snow. More snow was melting on the gentle slope of the ending area. It contained so much moisture that my skis didn’t run well.
