It was a beautiful spring sunny day. A couple from Aichi Pref. said, “We always enjoy your reports! We’ll take a mogul lesson at Hakuba47 Ski Academy today.” It was hot rather than warm from the early morning.
[Route 8]
Panorama Course was thoroughly groomed. The granular snow was nicely firm and dry. The edges worked well and I enjoyed making both large and short turns. Advanced riders who ran with sharp turns were really cool.

The granular snow was also nicely flat and firm at the upper area of Route 8. Panorama Course and Route 8 began melting slowly because both faced to north. Route 5 and 6 were a bit hard in the morning, however, my edges still worked well.

The upper part of Route 1, which was along the ridge, had already melted around 9 a.m. and was in soft granular snow because of the strong sunshine. The lower area of Route 1 was also melting under the sunshine. However, as I skied down, the snow got harder because the slope was in a shadow. By the way, there were big bumps at non-groomed steep slope of Route 3.
