The sun started to shine as soon as the ski area opened. The strong wind was blowing at the upper part of Rabbit Course and Ipponmatsu Course and snow was also falling but I didn’t fell cold. Ipponmatsu Course was groomed finely and nicely firm.

Mt. Hieda Forest Course was flat and in good condition. I was not expected for new snow because it was raining during yesterday’s daytime. But there were about 20-25 cm of new snow on Mt. Hieda 1 & along No.4 Pair Lift!

New snow was bit heavy but when I skied down straightly I could feel fluffy snow and the floating feeling. When people rode in to non-groomed area, they were shouting with joy.

Mt. Hieda 1 was covered with ski tracks within 30 minutes. The temperature was high and the snow became more wet as the slope got rough. I could make turns comfortably on firm Ikenota.
