This morning, we had much more snow than we expected!! A man who skied down Ipponbuna Downhill Course in the morning said to me, “There was a heavy snowfall in the upper part in the morning, so the opening of lifts will be late because of the safety check…” After that, No. 6 Quad was open at 8:20 a.m.

It was snowing quietly until 8:15 a.m. and then, the blue sky started to spread suddenly. The amount of fresh snow in Ipponbuna was 40－50cm deep!! In Kurosawa, the slope was covered with 5cm damp fresh snow and skis did not run well.

As soon as No.2 Pair was open at 8:45 a.m, people who were waiting around Central Plaza 1130 started to climb up. After that, No. 3 Quad and No. 5 Pair were open at 9:10 a.m, but No.1 Quad was still closed as of 10:30 a.m.

In Central Parking Area, staffs were swamped with removing 40－50cm heavy snow. In Ipponbuna Downhill Course, the snow was also heavy, so we had to ski down straightly. In Nakatsuna, there was 15－20cm fresh snow as well.
