We had beautiful days on the last weekend of October. HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR (Photo) was already crowded with people just after the open and I saw everyone stopping to take photos of the three-layered autumn tints over the mountains there. By the way, it was so cold this morning and the terrace was covered with frost and got slippery.

Now is the best season of the autumn tints in Nezuko-no-mori Forest. One of the best spots is the down slope from the left side of the arbor and especially Kaede showed amazing colors on the way to Umabuna (Photo). The trees in the upper area of Paradise Area also started to change their color, so we could enjoy those autumn leaves from the gondola.

By the way, there is a free day camping area, “DAY CAMP EXPERIENCE AREA” (Photo), in the beech forest on the summit area of Iwatake. Tables, chairs and tents are available for free (*Within 1 hour in busy hours) and you can have foods of Hakuba Deli STAND such as baked sweet potatoes and soft serve ice cream made by Northern Alps Farm here.

At Alps Downhill Course and Kamikaze Downhill Course of Hakuba Iwatake MTB PARK, some people stopped mountain biking to take photos with the Northern Alps. On Nov. 3 (Wed), “SDS Super Dual Slalom” will be held in this MTB park.
