On Oct. 2 (Sat), the 1st event of “IWATAKE OCTOBER FESTIVAL” was held. We had rain and thunder sometimes at the beginning of the second part at around 5:00 p.m, but it stopped at all when Zac (Photo) started his performance fortunately. His smooth playing on the acoustic guitar amazed people greatly.

At the second part, it required an entrance fee, but people could have a drink (alcohol and non-alcohol) and Croissant sandwich (sausage or beacon) at the eat-in space of THE CITY BAKERY. Some people took seconds because the foods were prepared enough. Mr. Moi will show up at the second event on Oct. 9 (Sat).

We had 3 sunny days from Oct. 3 (Sun) to Oct. 5 (Tue). As of 10:00 a.m, HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR (Photo) was very crowded with people enjoying the panorama view of the Northern Alps. The temperature stayed at around 22 degrees and there was a breeze from the south, so we could have a comfortable time there.

By the way, it is mainly allowed to smoke electronic cigarettes which do not give smoke in Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort. There are 2 smoking areas only for electronic cigarettes at the north side of the rotary in front of the base station of the gondola and at Summit Guide Center (Patrol Office). The normal cigarettes are allowed to be smoked only at the smoking area by SPICY Rental in the base area.
