It was cloudy in the early morning, but it started to break from 8:30 a.m. and the clear blue sky stretched out. Temperature at 9 a.m. was 15°C at the summit area and it was very comfortable. View 1 Lift was removed, and the view of the Northern Alps got even better from the observation platform.

The approach trail to Sky Arc from the gondola summit station was renewed as shown. The trail was made of concrete and painted with yellow, and it is easy to walk with high heels or pumps. However, the trails in Buna forest and Nozuko-no-mori Forest are still earthy, so hiking boots or sneakers are recommended.

In Hakuba MTB Park, the riders were running down the hill one after another. There were many families and beginners today. Many riders were riding down Alps Downhill Course via Mountain Cycling Course, starting from behind the Sky Arc.

The slope for mountain bike was newly opened at the gondola base station and it became easier to access the gondola. Still, the stairways in the front were available as usual. And in other side of the station (in south side), there is a washing place and you can wash the MTB.

Lilies in the bottom area of Lilly Garden were got greener and I can’t find damages in leaves and stems. There were many buds in tips of the stems. Usually, lilies will start to bloom from early July and are best viewed from mid-July.
