From Northern Alps View Deck, we could see the peaks of Hakuba 3 Peaks, kaerazu-no-ken, Mt. Karamatsu and Mt. Goryu. I met MTB riders from Nagoya City who took a rest there. They would enjoy riding with a guide (who has the logo, SPICY, on the back) today.

The sunlight was warm and it was a comfortable weather for outdoor activities even on the summit area (1,289m). Hakuba Iwatake MTB PARK has 2 downhill courses, Kamikaze Downhill Course (Length 3,672m) for experts and Alps Downhill Course (Length 6,900m) for beginners. I saw riders going down Alps Downhill Course fast.

The courses are called “Flow Trail” and various banks and waves are connected smoothly. We can enjoy the banks fully at the corner during running down and make a jump at the wave. After passing the half of the course, the course changes into flat and straight.

The autumn tints in the mountain foot area are in the peak. Especially, the bright colored leaves of Kaede are impressive. By the way, almost all of the trees dropped leaves in Nezuko-no-mori Forest and it showed the winter is coming soon.

Hakuba Iwatake will be open until Nov. 5 (Sun). After that, the additional operation will be planned on Nov. 11 (Sat) and Nov. 12 (Sun). Thank you all for your enjoying our reports! The winter season will start on Dec. 15 (Fri)!!
