Today, we had the first sunny day in these 7 days from the opening of Iwatake. Because the air in the rainy season has a lot of moisture, the distant views were hazy and the clouds gathered fast, but we could see the grand view of Mt. Hakuba (Photo, 2,932m) from the summit area.

The lilies in both of the village and summit areas are growing well and they look not to be damaged by the rain until July 5 (Wed). They put a lot of buds and it made me expected that the beautiful flowers in a week.

In the red pine forest, pink and yellow lilies showed the large petals after orange ones. If you would like to take the photo of them, the next weekend (July 15) is recommended.

Just after 2 days when we made a report last time, the number of orange lilies had increased in Up Bahn. After that, I walked into the red pine forest and the comfortable breeze cooled me down.

By the way, it was much cooler in the birch forest of the summit area. Besides, the trees made fresh air, so we could relax and refresh greatly there.
