It was calmly sunny in this weekend. Because it had been very chilly in mornings and evenings recently, the trees in the summit area of Iwatake (1,289m) and Nezuko-no-mori Forest turned into red and yellow beautifully from Oct. 19 (Tue). People walked toward Northern Alps View Deck one after another after taking off the gondola.

The southern east sky was covered with thin clouds, but the great peaks of Northern Alps made a fine contrast with Autumn tints. It was haldly blowing and this splendid view made us stop here for a long time.

The faces of Tsugaike also got red and yellow. I found people enjoying the Autumn view, sitting on the benches by the paths. Almost of them were wearing jackets and parkas, but it got not chilly around 9:00 a.m.

People came to Northern Alps View Deck one after another and they enjoyed the autumn mountains with admiration. However, I heard someone said “I wish the peaks had been covered with snow…” After that, yellow and red maple leaves welcomed me in Autumn Tints Road.

You can enjoy Blow Rifle in the east side of the summit. On Oct. 29 (Sat) and Nov. 5 (Sat), “Blow Rifle IWATAKE CUP” will be held. Winners will get prizes such as lift passes! (Entry fee is JPY1,000)
