The 18th typhoon, Talim, had passed through Kyushu, Shikoku, Honshu and Hokkaido in the last 3 holidays and the blue sky spread out this morning. Because of the warm air from the south, it was not so cold, 12.5 degrees today and I got sweaty soon after leaving to Happo-ike Pond.

The clouds including a lot of moisture was moving up greatly from the mountain foot. It was raised by the west wind on the ridge and it was like big waves. People made voices of surprise because of the dynamic view.

Because of the coldness in the moring and evening, the alpine plants were getting into autumn tints more and more, such as yellow Miyamatouki, pale red of Oyamasoba, red brown Yamabukishoma. Besides, I found the leaves of Tsutsuji (Photo) and Konara changing their colors as well.

The holidays had finished, but there were still many hikers this morning and Happo-ike Pond was crowded with people who took pictures of the mountains. Kaerazu-no-ken showed its great shope always in this morning, so we could see it anytime.

A family from Nagano City posed me with smiles. As they said the children had climbed up many mountains, they were going up the trail to Mt. Karamatsu smoothly. When I went down to the mountain foot, the clouds sometimes came and sometime broke up.
