“The food making experience” is now available at Usagidaira Terrace from Jun. You can experience to make the handmade butter, ice, cheese and pizza and enjoy the taste there. The hand-making astronomical telescope experience will start from Jul. 15 to Aug. 31 (10 a.m.－3 p.m., 4 people per group, accept a request on the day).

This was a last weekend of June and Happo Nature Trail was crowded with many people. In early in the morning, many mountain climbers were heading for Mt. Karamatsu and after 10 a.m. the families were became noticeable including this family from Kanagawa Pref. The thin clouds were covered the sky and sunlight was weak and it was comfortable.

The ridgeline of Northern Alps was covered by the clouds at around 9:15 a.m. July will start from next weekend and Kurobishi Line will start from Jul. 1 (Sat.)

Happo-ike Pond was almost thawing. The snow remained much more than average year at the upper part of the mountain but there were no snow on the ridge trail from Happo-ike Sanso to No.3 Cairn and Shimo-no-kanba. By the way, the toilet near No.2 Cairn is now available.

Dakekanba (Erman’s birch) are shooting buds at Shimo-no-kanba. I felt the wind through north snow valley was bit chilly. Thank you for many people gave me the watchword, “I always eonjoying the reports!”
