It’s been sunny these two days. The wind calmed down just after the slope opened and it gradually got warm. There were few skiers in the morning as it was Monday. The slope started to get crowded after the bus arrived at the foot around 9:30 a.m.

“I look forward to your reports! I’m staying for three days from yesterday. I found Shirakaba Slope is nice with few tracks when I was on Gondola. My other family members are on another slope.”, a skier from Tokyo said. The wide, compacted slope of Shirakaba Slope was empty and nice.

The compacted snow was firm from top to the bottom of Han-no-ki Slope. Many middle and advanced skiers/snowboarders went up by Han-no-ki No.3 Quad and went down fast in the early morning. There were some hard, non-compacted bumps on the steep slope.

I saw bushes and hard bumps here and there in Champion Slope. The firmly compacted snow was getting loose in Oyanohara Slope (pictured). My skis ran smoothly as there was sufficient snow and no bush.
