Tsugaike Kogen/ ◎125cm / Cloudy & Sunny2020.Jan.26

20012601_tsugaikeHigh cloudy morning overlooking the Northern Alps ridgeline.  The air was cool but there was no wind and it was easy to spend.  At the Tsuga-no-Mori slopes, where the snow is well-tightened and slippery, experts including customers (pictured) who gave me the words “I’m always seeing.” and children from the local racing team were sliding with the Tsuga 2nd pair lift.

20012602_tsugaikeThe Han-no-ki had moderately compacted snow along the high-speed pair, and compacted snow in the middle and late stages. The width of the compacted snow on the steep slope in the middle was equivalent to one pisten.  Currently, there are four box items, a rail, and an uprail.  It was well maintained and the barn was tight and I could enter with confidence.

20012603_tsugaikeThe clouds began to melt from the northwest sky, and the sun began to shine around 9 o’clock.  The second slope of the hill where the bell rings is almost flat, although there is no snow.  On Maruyama slope (pictured), where the snow was wide and the snow was tight, I was able to ride comfortably.

20012604_tsugaike“I always watch! There is no snow at the ski resort in Toyama prefecture (crying)”, said three people from Toyama prefecture.  According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the main cause is the stagnation of cold air in the Arctic Circle and the meandering westerly wind to the north.  The nationwide warm winter season is likely to continue.
