It was very chilly in the morning with the soft sunlight coming through a thin layer of clouds. “We enjoy your reports! The slope is not crowded, the snow condition is great, and we were finally able to see you, Snownavi! It’s an awesome day!”, two ladies from Matsumoto, Nagano City said.

Powder snow was firmly compacted on Han-no-ki Slope from top to the bottom. I saw many advanced skiers/snowboarders taking Gondola/Han-no-ki No.3 Quad and going down just after the slope opened. The non-compacted soft snow was covered with 5 cm of fresh snow on the middle steep slope.

Maruyama Slope, which was covered with firm powder snow, was wide and flat. It’s been snowing every day since Jan, 13 (Fri). The whole slope was covered with much snow without any bushes. By the way, “sleigh zone” and “treasure hunt zone” are open in Shimajiro Snowland in Hakuba Tsugaike (open: 10 a.m.~3 p.m.) beside Gondola Sta.Shirakaba from Jan, 10 (Fri).

“We enjoy your reports! We’re glad to see you, Snownavi! We’re taking a one-week paid holiday from last Saturday.”, four snowboarders from Tokyo and Mie Prefecture said. Kane-no-naru Oka slope was non-compacted but not rough, and approximately 3 cm of fresh snow cover was nice.
