Tsugaike Kogen / ◎275cm / Sunny & Cloudy2019.Mar.12

19031201_tsugaikeIt has continued warm day since Mar. 9th (Sat.). It was mild sunny day and two high scool girls from Hakuba Village said, “We always read your reports! There is the entrance exam today, so we are free!” The rough granular snow in Champion Slope was compacted well and the boards didn’t run well but it was still safe condition.

19031202_tsugaikeThe time of cloudy was long in the early morning but it was almost sunny at the daytime. The groomed area of Tsuganomori Slope was powdered and compacted thanks to the snow yesterday! We could speed up as we liked. And there was about 1cm dried fresh snow on the non-compacted area.

19031203_tsugaikeGotenba Course was flat and the area along Hannoki high-speed pair lift was also powderly and good for sliding. The owner of NUKYUmasa in Echoland and the owner of Petit Hotel schanze (the left of the photo) talked to us, “We always check your reports! The condition of snow is really good today!”

19031204_tsugaikeThe texture of snow became crunchy around the middle of Hannoki Slope. But we could enjoy turning comfortably. Karamatsu and Oyanohara Slope at the bottom of slopes had wet granular snow and there was no bush and ground area, so it was nice to slide down.
