Snow was fluttering and the thick fog was covered the top of Tsuga-no-mori but it disappeared before 9 a.m.. At the starting area of Tsuga-no-mori Slope, edges slipped because of groomed granular snow was very firm and some snow balls. From the middle, it became easy to slide down.

There was 1–2cm dried fresh snow on the groomed slope, so it was comfortable to make the turns in Gotenba Course. The area along Han-no-ki high-speed pair lift was the similar condition.

The sun shined from the middle of Han-no-ki Slope. There was slight fresh snow on a little bit softened granular snow, but the skis and snowboards were running well. Four guys from Toyama said, “We come to Tsugaike once or twice a year.”
[Hannoki Slope]
Shirakaba Slope was flat and became little soft, so it was easy to slide down. The branch course in the skier’s left of middle of Shirakaba was like a private slope! The conditions of snow were soft in Oyanohara Slope and Karamatsu Slope, and they were crowded with beginners.
