Tsugaike Kogen / ◎280cm / Cloudy2019.Feb.21

19022101_tsugaikeSnow was fluttering and the thick fog was covered the top of Tsuga-no-mori but it disappeared before 9 a.m.. At the starting area of Tsuga-no-mori Slope, edges slipped because of groomed granular snow was very firm and some snow balls. From the middle, it became easy to slide down.

19022102_tsugaikeThere was 1–2cm dried fresh snow on the groomed slope, so it was comfortable to make the turns in Gotenba Course. The area along Han-no-ki high-speed pair lift was the similar condition.

19022103_tsugaikeThe sun shined from the middle of Han-no-ki Slope. There was slight fresh snow on a little bit softened granular snow, but the skis and snowboards were running well. Four guys from Toyama said, “We come to Tsugaike once or twice a year.”
[Hannoki Slope]
19022104_tsugaikeShirakaba Slope was flat and became little soft, so it was easy to slide down. The branch course in the skier’s left of middle of Shirakaba was like a private slope! The conditions of snow were soft in Oyanohara Slope and Karamatsu Slope, and they were crowded with beginners.
