Tsugaike Kogen / ◎150cm / Sunny2019.Jan.04

19010401_tsugaikeMy eyes were caught by the Norhtern Alps, which stood out against the blue sky. It was chilly with the temperature at -10℃ at dawn because of the radiative cooling, however, the temperature gradually increased in the sunlight. The air was cool and nice without wind after the slope opened. “We enjoy your reports! The scenery is really beautiful and the slope is great!”, a couple coming from Tokyo said.

19010402_tsugaikeTsuga-no-mori Slope and the area along Hannoki High-speed Pair Lift, which were well-compacted, were nicely firm with powder snow. I saw intermediate and advanced skiers/snowboarders sliding with speed, while beginners and families enjoying all together, at the area along Hannoki High-speed Pair Lift.

19010403_tsugaikeSnow was widely compacted at the middle area of Hannoki Slope. The quality of snow was nice there like the upper area and I enjoyed sliding down the steep slope. There were not many people at Sawa or One Course around 9 am and I was able to gain speed on the slope filled with ski tracks.

19010404_tsugaikeI admired wide Kanenaru No.2 Slope, which was filled with corduroy patterns. “Are you a staff of Snownabi? We enjoy your reports!”, a group of three people coming from Shizuoka said.  I heard kids screaming with joy at Kanenaru Kids Park (entrance fee: 500 yen, free for one adult), which was crowded from the early morning.
