It has snowed in Tsuga-no-Mori ‘s slope after 2 weeks since Oct. 31 (Wed). Cooling at the foot of mountain was not so strong, it was + 4°C as of 7:00 a.m.. From the Japan Meteorological Agency, Winter half-year forecast was announced on Sep. 25 (Tue), warm winter was forecast on Oct. 24 (Wed) with 3-month forecast, Nov. 9 (Fri) “El Nino phenomenon occurred for the first time since about 2 years, it is highly likely that this phenomenon will continue until the spring of next year. ” In addition, we did not snow at other ski resorts of Hakuba Valley etc. this time around Happo.
