There was a thin layer of fresh snow in Tsuga-no-mori Slope this morning. Snow clouds came over the Northern Alps in the western sky, and snowflakes sometimes whirled around in the wind as of 9:30 a.m. The sunlight coming through clouds in the east was warm.

As I went deep into Tsugaike Nature Park, I found about 17 cm of snow around Yase-One, where we had had snow every day. By the way, the trail between Ukishima Marsh, Yase-One and Tenbo Marsh has been redeveloped through the construction until Oct.26 (Fri). It was easy to walk on even though there was snow.

In the early morning, Umanose Course and the upper area of Shirakaba and Han-no-ki Slope turned white with snow. We had the first snow in the slope on Oct.19 last year, so it was 12 days later this year. However, the first snowfall came just 1 day later than last year in the upper area of Shirakaba and Han-no-ki Slope. (※It was Oct.30 last year.)
