Tsugaike Kogen / ◎280cm / Sunny2018.Mar.31
The spring-like blue sky spread and it was bit chilly in the early morning. But the sunshine was strong and I felt the weak wind comfortable soon after the open. A family from Shizuoka Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your report! It’s our third time to meet Snownavi.” The groomed Tsuga-no-mori was firm and the edges worked well and I could ski comfortably.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was nicely firm corn snow. Below that snow was slushy and soft even at around 9 a.m. 3 people from Matsumoto City said, “We always enjoy your report! First run at Han-no-ki was nicely firm but it became slushy and soft in second run, so we will head to Tsuga-no-mori.”
[Han-no-ki]
Wide & flat Kane-no-naru-oka No.2 was slushy and soft. The slope was not crowded so the fresh snow remained for a long time and I could ski comfortably. Champion was not groomed entirely and covered with irregular bumps (The slope along Tsugaike No. 1 Pair was groomed).
[Kane-no-naru-oka No.2]
Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu were nicely melted soft and corn snow condition and there were no bushes and I could ski at ease. The area was crowded with the beginners and the families include a family from Wakayama Pref. who gave me the watchword. By the way, this report is the final English report of Tsugaike in this season. Thank you for your reading and cheering. See you again in the next winter!!
