It was a fine Sunday. It snowed little at the upper part of the ski area and there was about 5 cm of dry fresh snow on the non-groomed area. The widely groomed Tsuga-no-mori was nicely soft powder snow condition.

The temperature was officially announced -14 degree Celsius in the early morning but at 8:30 a.m. it was comfortable because of warm sunlight. There were many beginners and intermediates at Han-no-ki and Tsuga-no-mori and also international visitors.
[Han-no-ki]
Snow condition of the 3 km long groomed Han-no-ki area was unchanged from top to bottom. The slope was nicely firm and skis were running well. By the way, a skier with Japanese costume was attracting the people.

The groomed Kane-no-naru-oka was crowded with families and beginners. They were skiing and snowboarding the vast slope with their own pace.
